Taming crazy arm hair?

i have blond, kinda long arm hair. it doesnt bother me much except that it sticks up everywhere and it just isn't tame and it's ugly. i could just put lotion on my arms and smooth over the hair so that it lays flat, but that doesn't work for long.

any ideas on how to make my crazy arm hair stay flat and not stick up?

PS. i am NOT going to shave/wax it. please do NOT suggest that

This may sound odd, but I've read in magazines about how people with sensitive skin who don't want to shave their arms use conditioner to tame those crazy hairs. While it makes hair easy to work with, the oils force hair flat. I'd also recommend using a light conditioning spritz or even hairspray if the aforementioned doesn't help!

Hi, using a good moisturiser/lotion works, but you need to smooth the hair down in the direction it grows, and try not to rub your arms too much, the friction from clothes/sleeves etc makes them stick up more. Also, sometimes a little fabric softener (yes like the type u use for washing)can help as it reduces static electricity, which also makes them stick up.
