Do they bleach hair in salons?

Also some questions about bleaching hair. My hair is dark brown and my mother told me that if I were to dye my hair a light blonde bleached looking color that it would mess my hair up and such, is this true? I really want to stick to just bleaching my hair, and was wondering if they did it at salons?

Also, has he bleached his hair, or is this platinum blond?

yes they bleach hair at salons, and it dose ruin your hair, but ifyou buy those expensive shamppos and conditioners they have at salons, you'll be alright.

im sure if you take the pictures in they can do whatever you want.

Yes, they do and if your hair is black or dark brown it might be hard to get it blond. it might get brassie,red,orange because your hair has stages to go through lifting off the color of your hair.

OK. first things first. when you bleach your hair it has all types of chemicals in it, so it can damage your hair, especially if you have bleached it before,which you haven't obviously. yes they do it in the salons but it will put a big whole in your pocket. they will charge you for washing your hair , rollers , dying your hair, cut and blow dryer, and will take forever. you can also do it yourself. you can buy the powder of bleach at any beauty store. just be sure to test a little bit of hair first. i suggest on the back. be sure to put bleach on all your hair first without putting it on your roots. since its virgin hair. leave on and cover your head with a shower cap. until the lightness you want is desired minus about 5 to 8. then do your roots. this will be faster. then rinse your hair....make sure that you DON'T use bleach again until at least 48 hours. cuz then your hair will thin out like crazy. enjoy! hope this helps.
