Alright, my natural hair color is blonde/dirty blond(ish) and I've been dying my hair black for about 2-3 years now. I'm actually getting a little tired of dying my hair so I've decided to quit and get back to my natural hair color. The thing is, I don't wanna high light my hair in order to get back to my natural hair color because I don't like the damage the chemicals can do. So, I'm thinking about getting a wig, that way I can hide my hair when half of my hair is black and the other half is blonde. It'll look really gross lol. So my question is, if someone told you that they're wearing a wig for the sole purpose of getting back to their natural hair color, would sound stupid to you? Or would it make sense? Because personally, I've never heard about people doing such a thing, so I'm trying to get opinions before I do it.

I think, that if we have been dying your hair black for so long, dye it your natural color, and it will be a smooth transition. Who wants to have a wig that slides around on a full head of hair? Just my opinion though.
