get either your hair chemically straightened or extentions or both...

hmmm...use hair serum/oil...and use straighteners...

Get a great conditioner, a professional grade straightening balm, and a blow dryer and flat iron. If you put in the balm, pull it flat while you blow-dry it with a big round brush, and then finish up by flat-ironing, you'll have a very straight glossy finish.

If you're not sure how to do it, go to a salon to get it done the first time and ask the hairstylist to help you learn how to manage at home.

Go to a professional salon and buy hair balm, like a smoother. You are also going to need to get a good shampoo and conditioner regime. I reccommend Catwalk Oatmeal and Honey Shampoo and Conditioner. I have very thick wavy hair and I use a Chi Iron everyday, they are expesnive but VERY VERY VERY worth it!

If you want your hair long and straight I would say, to have a shower every morning, when you are done, blow dry it and straighten it!!! This really helps,**** (use hair spray)

Good luck!!!

Sunsilk has some great anti-frizz products

If you want to straighten your hair, try using a Chi. Its a little expensive, but its the best straightener ive used on my curly, poofy hair. Also, don't just let your hair grow without any maintenance. Keep going to the salon, but let your stylist know that you are trying to grow your hair out. If you just let it go, you could be hangin on to dead/damaged ends that could contribute to the 'poofiness.'
