Hair Color Dissaster!?

I normaly color my hair a dark blond, this time I put on a light brown which turned out very RED, i just did it yesterday. Can I now put on the dark blond or will I really mess things up???

thats really bad for ur hair if u color it so soon after u colored it once already it could break off or worse fall out

Going over red usually results in a nice sunshine orange as I found out trying to go over the auburn I had. You may have to bleach first, then apply another dye or a toner to get to the blonde you wish. Your other option is to get a brown in that has no red or golden tones, let your hair rest a few weeks, then give it a go.

Also, a very safe bet is to call up a hair dresser and ask for some advice on the situation. Good luck with your hair ventures!

I did that once and my hair turned out almost black. My hairdresser said to wait three days and color it again without the ash, that's what made you turn red. Good Luck

first you gotta give your hair atleast a 2 day break cause you just put chemicals on it..most beauty supply stores carry anti redness/brassiness toners if your hair has red tones in it now.. it will come out orange when you lighten it... try toners... toners have a balance of color in them that will take out the orange.. for blonde I know toner has violet.. I use toner because Im a platinum blonde but.. I have seen people use toner to get redness out cause toners come in a few colors... so make sure to go to a salon to pick out the best toner to pull out that redness... because I cant see it to make a real opinion .. but toners are a god send
